PROTECTING THE WELL-BEING AND SAFETY OF ITS MEMBERS
The Trade Union Suora's degree of unionisation in major agreement sectors is 90 per cent. Union membership is a natural way to manage employment contract-related issues.
Members have the opportunity to obtain advice and personal legal assistance free of charge in problems related to collective labour agreements.
At the workplace, a Suora member's closest trustee is the employees' representative or an authorised delegate who has access to the counselling, interpretation and legal services offered by the union.
Suora has a solid reputation as an efficient and modern union; integrity, democracy and political independence emphasise its strength. Suora's performance when acting on behalf of its members, its union power and up-to-date operating methods are also appreciated.

POWER OF THE NETWORK
Suora's regional and community activities encourage members' active participation locally. Membership is a channel for influencing matters; it secures counselling services and expert assistance in the workplace and when necessary in a court of law. The union's administrative board directs operations related to collective labour agreements and exercises the power of enforcement. The board's representatives convene three times annually, electing a chairperson every four years and the administrative board every two years.
In everyday life, this network of professionals also facilitates the exchange of opinions and experiences.
